What the day will look like

Lead Workday HCM architecture to deliver services and capabilities based on business needs and requirements, value streams, and technology landscape. Define Workday standards, roadmaps, integrated technology blueprints, and compliance monitoring.

This is a hands-on role involved in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, and best practices

Lead configuration efforts for Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management, and Benefits, while also guiding the development of custom solutions when

Design and architect end-to-end Workday HCM solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and usability

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design documents

Be responsible for the integration of Workday HCM with other systems and applications, leveraging Workday Studio, EIBs, and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and process automation

Develop and implement test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Workday HCM solutions, troubleshooting issues and drive resolution

Manage and coordinate testing, deployment, and maintenance of system updates and enhancements

Know the latest with Workday releases and updates, evaluating new features and functionalities to optimize and enhance existing solutions

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Proven experience as a Workday HCM Architect with successful Workday HCM implementations

Proven deep knowledge of HR configuration and business processes across various Workday HCM modules

Ability to positively influence others and to break down organizational silos

Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence

6+ years of experience in solution architecture and data architecture, working with highly scalable systems

Extensive experience configuring Workday implementations, including integration with solid understanding of Agile development processes

Solid understanding of HCM processes and concepts, and general HR operations and compliance

Workday Pro certification in one or more tracks

Proficiency in Workday security and role-based permissions management

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $135,000 to $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
