Marketing Coordinator

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your excellent organizational skills to support national strategic marketing initiatives in an exciting technology sector? If you are someone who takes responsibility, works independently and is resourceful, then JVCKENWOOD USA has the perfect role for you. As a Marketing Coordinator for the Safety & Security Sector, you will have the chance to grow as a professional and contribute to the success of a world-leading company.

This is a crucial position that requires you to take charge of organizing and managing numerous national marketing, advertising, and promotion projects. Having prior experience managing an organization's participation in trade shows would be beneficial as this is a significant aspect of this role. You will be reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications and will be responsible for supporting overall campaign development. Additionally, you will create reporting structures to ensure that trade show events, advertising, PR, merchandising and other marketing activities are completed on time and within budget. Proven administrative skills are essential to meeting deadlines, working independently to solve problems, and learning a new industry. Coordination with internal engineering and sales teams as well as external vendors is crucial for success. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing projects comply with global corporate branding standards.

Moderate travel (up to 20%) may be required, including some weekends and overnights. This is a hybrid position based in Irving, TX and offers a blend of remote and in-office work, with a minimum of two to three days required on-site.

Prior experience with trade show coordination is mandatory for this position.

Requirements:

1. To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related studies or 6 years of directly related experience that is accepted in place of education. Additionally, you must have two or more years of marketing experience, for a minimum total of eight years of professional experience.

2. You must be able to thrive in an environment where being well organized, self-sufficient, responsible and capable of working with minimal supervision are vital to success.

3. Proven writing, editing, creative and verbal communication skills are a must.

4. You should be tech-savvy and proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience working with Web Content Management Systems, Social Media platforms and Adobe Creative Suite.

5. You must be known for your attention to detail and be aware of the importance of meeting time and budget requirements.

6. You will need to create innovative and robust strategies to organize, schedule and coordinate multiple projects and tradeshows.

7. You enjoy the challenge of competing and working under rapidly shifting deadlines.
