Summary

Prysm Systems Inc., is committed to developing and promoting large format display solutions using its proprietary Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) Technology. We have been delivering these highly immersive & engaging customer experiences to some of the world’s most recognizable brands for over 10 years.

This role will be responsible for working with Product Management and Design Engineering to assure that the products being developed meet the project scope and goals. In addition, the position will develop the work instructions, the test procedures, and any required fixtures, tools, or jigs to support new product introductions. Will also work with Operations to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and take corrective action, as needed.

Responsibilities

Enable team in design transfer from Engineering to Production. (NPI)

Timely delivery of EE components into new product launches.

Accountable for design control deliverables for the introduction of new products ñ deliverables such as assembly process documentation, process risk assessments and equipment and process validations.

Utilize Design for Manufacturing techniques to evaluate & improve upon current designs for future revisions.

Collaborate on risk analysis documents & exercises such as dFMEA & pFMEA.

Early collaboration with product design

Collaborate with design engineering to incorporate optimal manufacturing methods throughout concept, development & launch phases of NPIís

Communicate effectively on the status of open projects using strong written and verbal communication skills

Assist team to meet targets for quality, delivery & other associated measures

Represent EE/Hardware at a variety of reviews related to program launch (sourcing committee, design review, launch readiness review, program review etc.)

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Minimum 10 years of experience in of transitioning NPIís into production.

Certification in process improvement methodology.

Must be willing and able to travel to our manufacturing partners in China, Thailand and India.

Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.

Ability to take initiative and work in a self-directed environment with remote team members & leaders.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to develop & present information to individuals & groups.

High level of independent judgement.

Demonstrated ability of working on complex issues.
