A little bit more about the job itself:
We are searching for a competent, highly motivated and intelligent Account Executive who is looking to supercharge their career in a rapidly growing startup. The position will primarily focus on driving business opportunities and managing customer relationships within the enterprise market in North America. You’ll be directly responsible for the expansion of our customer base in North America, with the possibility to assist in other key American markets as well.
The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience within the SaaS industry, preferably within the contact center sphere. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to achieve a balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach. The goal is to find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.
Location: South East, United States.
Responsibilities:
Own and drive the sales process, from identifying potential customer and partner leads through to a completed agreement. Our partners are consultancy firms who provide sales and implementation support, as well as pure resellers from the contact center industry.
Lead presentations, demonstrations, and business cases to explain, demonstrate, and prove in-depth what boost.ai’s platform can do and how to successfully deploy it.
Maintain and build strong relationships with partners, providing technical support to them with their sales processes, when required.
Contribute significantly to the tendering and bid processes.
Work closely with both the marketing and development teams to ensure that technical, architectural and competitive blockers are communicated and escalated to the appropriate channel.
Provide clients with technical support and sales insight to build credible, compelling business cases.
Expertly lead C-level executive sales meetings both in-person and via video conference.
Ensure a full and comprehensive handover to the AI supervisor or appropriate partner delivery team member for them to fulfill their role as a key account manager.
Due to our growing client base, you must be able to travel for approximately 50+ days a year (pre-pandemic), mainly within North-America.
Act as a trusted advisor and have a strong presence in social media.
Participate in industry conferences and trade-shows.
Collaborate with assigned resources from BID management, presales and partner managers.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
A proven track record within technical B2B sales with at least 5 years experience.
Good knowledge and a strong overview of the North-American market.
Experience within contact centers and chat as a channel.
Experience with developing sales pipelines and relationships with partners (we work with Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini and smaller automation/AI/RPA consulting companies)
A strong technical understanding is a key requirement of the role to ensure you are competent enough to answer any questions related to security, hosting options, privacy and other technical and business impact assessments.
Excellent oral and verbal communication skills in English with experience in delivering presentations and product demos.
Highly skilled relationship manager, able to demonstrate negotiation and organizational skills, with a proven track record of experience in managing complex selling processes as well as various customer and partner stakeholder relationships.
Strong analytical skills.
Educated to college or university degree level would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite for the role.
