We are hiring for a Director of Architecture and Interior Design to be a part of a Luxury Custom Home Building Team based in Henderson, NV.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day project and client management for multi- discipline architectural and Interior design services for luxury custom home projects and teams from the initial planning through construction phase.
Responsibilities
Successfully developing strategy, preparing and reviewing proposals, negotiating contracts, and executing project(s)
Overseeing projects throughout the lifecycle of the project from identification and data capture, execution, construction and closeout.
Managing and directing professional and technical staff to complete complex architectural and interior design projects.
Overseeing the development of work plans and organizing project studies
Developing and managing project schedules and budgets
Conducting reviews and providing staff feedback for continued improvement Implementing quality assurance programs and procedures.
Managing teams across multiple disciplines, and/or management of consultants.
Preparing, coordinating, and facilitating project meetings, preparing and maintaining the agenda with associated meeting minutes Maintaining project documentation control
Reviewing design documents and coordinating design reviews with various executive stakeholders
Assisting with project presentations to senior management
Facilitating team communication, coordination, and collaboration to support assigned projects.
Being a Collaborator with, and mentoring less experienced employees
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university required
U.S. Architectural license, preferably Nevada
Proficient in REVIT and/or AutoCAD, with preference being given to candidates with REVIT.
Must be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
Responsibilities include all phases of design documentation through construction administration, project management and client contact.
Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types
