Duties You will supportInformation Systems, data availability, integrity, authentication, andconfidentialityas well as:
Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks.
Developsecurity policies, plans, and procedures.
Design and implement data network security measures; operate Network Intrusion Detection and Forensics.
Conduct performance analysis of Information Systems security incidents.
Develop COOP/DR plans and support certification of Information Systems and Networks.
Supervise operation of Electronic Key Management Systemand Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Operate Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Virtual Private Networksand related security operations.
Evaluate communication hardware and software for efficiency and DOD compliance.
Troubleshoot LAN/MAN/WANnetwork problems.
Provide technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks.
PerformLAN/BAN/WAN administrationand test complex large‐scale computer integrated networks.
Scheduleconversions and cutovers.
Supervise staff and systemsmaintenance
To qualify for this position you will need: DOD Secret Security Clearance
IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+CE or Equivalent)
5 years of related experience
Understanding of Cyber Security Operations required
Primary task is Network Scanning and responding to security events.
