This is a Hybrid Sales Management/Finance Manager position with the primary focus being on driving sales and maximizing gross profit on the floor. Once the deal is agreed upon, you will be responsible for completing the finance transaction. Offering vehicle finance options and finance productsto customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of all offerings while building rapport and making a lifelong customer. Keep tight compliance and thorough paperwork, package deals and track funding through completion. Maintaingood working relationships with banks and help achieve GMF Funding goals to hit Dealer Rewards floor plan offsets. Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments. When on the Desk- actively take TO's and be involved in the sales process, desking and closing deals.
Coach and Train Sales Consultants with follow-up, objection handling, sales process and closing deals as well as back-end products
Qualifications: Sales/Finance Managers must have a minimum two years of automotive finance experience. Managerial positions are required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction. Managers are required to not only understand but also keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations. F & I personnel require strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees and finance and insurance vendors as they represent the dealership. People working within the automotive retail industry often have to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.
