Clinical Supervisor

As a Clinical Supervisor, you'll meticulously review and greenlight clinical documentation while actively contributing to crafting tailored treatment goals and interventions for our clients. Foster strong partnerships with county collaborators and external service providers to ensure seamless support and comprehensive care within our program.

This position required candidates to be 2 years post Licensed as LCSW.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Santa Clara County Response Intervention Services and Empowerment (Rise) is a partnership between Santa Clara County Probation Department, Santa Clara Behavioral Health and Seneca Family of Agencies. The short-term goal of RISE is to provide evidence-driven assessment, planning, linkage and treatment services to support referred clients and their families to meet the terms of their probation, address mental health, education, substance abuse, social service's needs, and exit probation successfully. The long-term goal of RISE is to reduce client recidivism, increase client psychosocial functioning, and increase community safety.

Responsibilities

* Work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to support the overall quality and operations of the program

* Provides supervision, training, professional development, and oversight of clinical, direct care and/or administrative support staff, as assigned, to ensure high quality service delivery to clients that is grounded in Seneca's values, guided by the principles of Unconditional Care, and in adherence to relevant governing standards

* Manages staff to complete operational, compliance, and billing requirements of their role. Perform personnel functions for assigned staff, including overseeing hiring, evaluation, and termination

* Provide consultation and training to program staff, caregivers, partners and other providers, as assigned, in areas such as clinical treatment, client service planning, crisis management, safety assessment, etc.

* Provide leadership to the program staff team, cultivating a program culture that supports safety, engagement, collaboration, and ongoing learning

* Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's Equilibrium model training. This may include intervening with the clients' behavioral program through physical management of the clients, if applicable

* Training in additional crisis intervention modalities such as CPI may be required

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

* Master's degree in Social Services/Social Work/Psychology/Counseling

* Licensed LCSW required

* At least two years post-licensure with the applicable regulatory agency responsible for licensingexamination, and enforcement of competent mental health practice standards

* Own vehicle, valid California Drivers License and insurance.

* TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

* Proof of Covid-19 fully vaccinated

PREFERRED

* Four years experience working with children/youth and families with complex and enduring needs preferred

* Experience implementing family-focused wraparound services preferred

* 1 year of management skills preferred

SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

* Understands own social and cultural location, the systems of oppression within which we operate, and the impact those have on the clients and communities we serve

* Prior supervisory experience

* Experience working with or living in community with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds

* A commitment to advancing racial equity at the organizational level

Schedule

* Full-Time

* Monday to Friday

* Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

* Hybrid position with required travel to our downtown San Jose office as needed for staff training and clinical supervision

Benefits

* Starting salary $109,885 to $123,885 annually

* As of July 7th, this starting range will increase to $113,182 - $127,182

* Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.

* Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam

* $2000 sign-on bonus for new employees
