Title: Product Owner
Location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid.
Duration: Contract to Hire

Overview:
As a Product Owner, your primary responsibility is to maximize the value of the product developed by the team. You will work closely with product teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure the S4 Product meets our business needs and expectations. Additionally, you will collaborate with other product owners, technical and functional resources, and business stakeholders to align the product portfolio with the enterprise strategy.
Responsibilities:
Gain a deep understanding of complex business requirements and facilitate projects and decisions across various user groups.
Partner with the Product Manager to contribute to the product vision and strategic roadmap.
Collaborate with the product management team to fully understand features for execution, ensuring they meet quality, performance, usability, and security standards.
Create, manage, and validate user stories with the product team, ensuring readiness before each iteration.
Lead the agile team in managing and prioritizing the team backlog.
Work with Coaches to remove impediments for the Agile team and model agile practices.
Keep leadership updated on team progress, risks, and relevant developments.
Act as the primary liaison between vendors, cross-functional teams, field implementation, and business stakeholders.
Provide quality insights on functionality and ensure thorough analysis and deliverables.
Connect with the customer to validate features, execute system and solution demos, and ensure business value delivery.
Partner with the Product Team to prepare for system and solution demos.
Develop, scope, and define backlog items to guide the product team.
Assist the Product Manager in leading continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.
Develop strong business relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate to develop superior solutions.
Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies such as PI planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, etc.
Provide coaching and mentoring to development teams on SAFe Agile principles and practices.
Coordinate with other product teams for solution validation testing.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in processes like customer-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or record-to-report.
3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
Strong knowledge and experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to define and deliver products that meet customer needs and achieve business goals.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to guide product decisions.
Familiarity with tools and technologies such as ADO and Miro.
Certification as a SAFe Agile Product Owner or SAFe Agile Practitioner is a plus.
Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking required to troubleshoot application-related issues and assist in resolution.
