**Responsibilities**

Noblisisexpanding its datadevelopmentteam to support a wide variety of client needs focused onelectronic fraud.The successful candidatewill work collaboratively with the NoblisLead Data Analytics architects and data scientiststodesignand implementanalytics, data ETL,data QA, and a variety of operational needs to support the mission.

TheData Analytics Engineerwillalsowork closely with government personnel and other Noblis professionals in a team environment.

**Responsibilities include:**

+ Design, development, integration, and implementation ofdataprocesses

+ Identification ofanalytics approaches,and development of supporting analyticaldata sets.

+ Understand business processes andwork collaboratively yet independentlyto support the operation of a large and complex data warehouse(MapR(Hadoop), Spark,ElasticSearch)

+ Interacting directly with clientproject team members andoperational staff

**Required Qualifications**

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Bachelor’sdegree in a technical or quantitative discipline required + 18 years of experience, or Masters degree + 10 years of experience or PhD.

+ Fiveor more years of progressive experience indata analytics

+ Experience in the design, development, integration, testing, and implementation of alargescaleanalytical data sets

+ Strong skills in either Python or Java are a requiredstartingpoint.

+ Experience in Linux command line environmentisrequired

+ Strong analytic and creativeproblem solvingabilities are required

+ Highly inquisitive and ability to work both independently and in collaborativesetting

+ Strong teamwork,communicationand interpersonal skills

+ Strongcommunication, written, and organizationalskills

+ Abilitytowork on multiple aspects of alarge scaleproject which includes prioritizing, tracking, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through to project completion

+ Prior experience with any ofPySpark, Scala,ElasticSearch, Hadoop/MapRis a plus(eagerness to learn is required!)

+ Experience with D3 or Flask is aplus

+ Ability to obtain a public trust

**Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position** **is provided within the posting and** **are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.**

**Posted Salary Range**

USD $117,400.00 - USD $205,500.00 /Yr.
