The Director of Account Services will be responsible for leading, planning, and directing the function of Account Management. In addition, this position will be responsible for overseeing the service of accounts within described service level and metrics, and promote relationship development with client accounts through Account Managers achieving company's targeted profitability level.

Essential Functions:

Directly oversee Client Services-Account Management by establishing territories, objectives, policy and procedures to ensure company goals are achieved.

Assist with the development and execution of a strategic plan to ensure service standards are achieved and continuously enhanced and amended as needed for clients.

Promote relationship development with clients and maintain an indirect relationship with accounts to ensure account satisfaction

Oversee resource planning, including budget, reporting and communications to ensure profitability.

Participate in client interactions to ensure cross training, customer satisfaction and management involvement regularly

Provide leadership to staff by coaching, mentoring and developing skills

Provide precise and accurate reporting to upper management

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements that support the accuracy and timeliness needs of clients as well as the strategic and financial objectives of the company

Participate in the development of long term strategic company plans related to customer service.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of the insurance industry required, prefer Collateral Protection Insurance

Strong systems and processes conceptualization

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills - principles and people. Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth

Excellent leadership skills, including visioning, developing, coaching and mentoring and monitoring skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service orientation

Excellent problem solving abilities

Ability to negotiate effectively required

Ability to analyze and interpret financial operations information

Experience/Education

Bachelor's degree required and MBA or equivalent preferred

7 to 10 years relevant experience
