**Description**

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring inventory consigned to Field Sales Distributors and Hospitals and ensuring the administration of Company policies and procedures for field inventory management. This position is also responsible for executing field inventory processes, variance analyses, and inventory reconciliations. Inventory control processes include self-reported audits and physical inventory audits of Distributors, and Hospital accounts with field inventory. This role is also responsible for providing training to Distributor and Sales on field and consignment inventory control processes, procedures and policies.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Monitor field inventory consigned and loaned to Field Sales Associates, Distributors and Hospitals on a regular basis

* Conduct field inventory processes, including self-reported audits and physical inventory audits, of SeaSpines active and terminating Field Sales Distributors with field inventory

* Collaborate with Field Sales to perform physical inventory audits at locations with field inventory and terminating Field Sales Associates and Distributors

* Collaborate with Consignment Analysts, Field Sales Distributors and Management, Finance and Distribution Centers to reconcile inventory transactions and inventory discrepancies

* Prepare analysis of self-reported audit variances and physical inventory audit variances, analyze trends and root cause and determine potential solutions; Escalates issues to management in a timely fashion

* Prepare inventory reports; analyze and summarize inventory data

* Assist in preparing information for internal and third-party audits, as needed

* Assist with field inventory returns, including excess, damaged, expired or soon to expire items

* Provide field training on inventory control policies, procedures, and processes to Field Sales Associates and Distributors

* Administer Company policies and procedures for field inventory management

* Review, research, investigate and resolve field inventory discrepancies and disputes related to transferred, returned, lost or damaged inventory;

* Develop and maintain metrics reporting; Prepare and distribute field inventory reports; analyze, trend, and summarize inventory data

* Provide notifications for expiring, excess or obsolete field inventory

* Assist with self-reported audits and physical audits; research, resolve and/or report any resulting inventory discrepancies

* Assist in preparing information for internal and third-party auditors, as needed

* Assist in activities related to month, quarter and year-end inventory reconciliations, including inventory transfers and adjustments; Coordinate inventory adjustments, reserves, and write-offs with Finance. Collaborate with Field Sales to ensure field inventory policies are enforced; resolve issues related to lost, damaged, or expired field inventory; escalate issues as necessary

* Collaborate with Field Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Distribution Center to reconcile inventory transactions and discrepancies

* Participate in continuous improvement projects

* Cross-train to serve as backup for other inventory analysts

* Occasional travel for field physical inventory audits

* Perform other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or equivalent required in combination with 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

* 1-2 years of experience in Inventory Management, Inventory Control or Supply Chain functions

* Experience with ERP systems

* Advanced proficient skills in Microsoft Excel required

* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required

* Ability to identify issues and develop and implement solutions to meet departmental and Company goals

* Proven ability to organize, analyze and present data and relate findings to business objectives

* Solid business acumen and effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization

* Customer satisfaction focused

* Able to execute multiple tasks within tight timelines

* Adaptable to change within a fast paced, matrix environment

* Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 25%

PREFERRED:

* Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

* APICS certification a plus
