The Analyst, Inventory provides strategic analysis and issue resolution for inventory errors, consumption, and reconciliations. This position requires collaboration and relationship development with other departments including finance, accounting, and the various product division teams across the Brother network, to resolve issues, optimize processes, perform internal audits for vendors, and for ensuring that all adjustments/transfers follow Standard Operating Procedure. This position is accountable for achieving targets for certain Key Performance Indicators, and creating reporting for senior management based on those measurements.**Cross Functional Collaboration**
* Develop relationships and resolve inventory issues with various departments in the Brother network Identify strategic process improvements in relation to inventory related process steps and support implementation
* Investigate cycle count and other inventory related errors and provide feedback to management and the warehouse
* Inform the the third party vendor to cycle count product when system variances are discovered and follow up on the results, making inventory adjustments as needed
* Train inventory control employees (including 3PL employees) in established processes and procedures
**Analyze Data**
* Create and manage various inventory reporting models, including presentation of results to management
* Conduct daily analysis to anticipate and resolve potential problems
* Identify the root cause of inventory adjustments and discrepancies using available reports
* Provide accurate information on inventory in stock
**Receiving/Shipping Discrepancy Resolution**
* Manage various inventory reporting models, including presentation of results to management
* Create reports to identify the root cause of inventory adjustments and discrepancies
* Provide accurate information on inventory in stock Investigate receiving discrepancies and communicate with various departments within Brother and its vendors and resolve receiving and shipping issues
**Physical Inventory**
* Reconcile all inventory discrepancies for accuracy
* Retrieve and analyze information from the Warehouse Management System and Brothers SAP system of record to perform analysis and process optimization
* Investigate shipping discrepancies and collaborate with various departments to resolve
**QUALIFICATIONS**
* A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar technical related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3 + years Working in a distribution environment in inventory control
* Experience in inventory analysis, cycle counting and resolving inventory errors
* SAP Warehouse Stock module and Warehouse Management System experience
* Ability to analyze system problems/issues and exercise insightful judgement
* Ability to drive results with moderate supervision
* Ability to work with other departments and 3rd party vendors
* Ability to get results without direct oversite from internal departments
