About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic Vice President of Finance to oversee its financial health and lead in strategic planning. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and maintaining financial strategies to meet both short and long-term goals, preparing and managing the annual budget, and conducting financial analysis to provide insights for improving profitability. This role also involves ensuring financial reporting accuracy, managing cash flow, and identifying and addressing financial risks. The VP of Finance will be a key business partner, providing financial advice to the executive team, and will be responsible for driving financial performance through the design and implementation of performance metrics. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership, particularly in a commercial or industrial setting, is required. The role demands a proven track record in financial management, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. The candidate must also demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilities. Responsibilities include not only managing the finance department but also acting as a strategic partner to the President, providing key insights to senior leadership, and supporting business initiatives through collaboration with other departments.
