About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial objectives, ensuring the integrity of accounting information, and maintaining compliant business processes. This role is a key support to the business president and involves providing financial insight, preparing and managing the annual budget, and overseeing audits. The VP of Finance will also be involved in identifying trends, collaborating with the business leadership on process improvements, and creating margin efficiencies. Supervisory responsibilities include leading a team that handles financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting, and providing training and development in finance management and compliance.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, at least 5 years' of experience, and possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong ERP experience, particularly with Lawson, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or as a plant controller, with experience in cost accounting. The role requires strong analytical and management skills, the ability to travel up to 25%, and a commitment to creating and supporting an internal control environment. The VP of Finance will work in a decentralized, diversified structure that values the opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion.
