Established Construction Company is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team. In this role you will work with the Customer, Site Supervisors, Client/Project Management, and other internal teams to ensure timely and successful completion of jobs. Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years working in a construction company with similar responsibilities. College degree desired. Must have excellent communication, organization and computer skills.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Review and understand in detail the contents of the Job Kit. Understand clearly the scope of the task and project. Seek clarifications from the Estimator or Client Manager.

Read and understand signed contracts with the Customers. Seek clarifications from the Client/Project Manager and/or CFO.

Continually refine the understanding of what the customer’s expectations are and what the Company's commitments are by understanding all the documents, correspondences, and communications with the Client Manager, Superintendent, Estimator and Customer. Notify stakeholders promptly.

Chair the kick-off meetings. Seek clarifications to questions.

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely responses and doing the necessary research to provide accurate information to internal and external stakeholders. Assist in setting realistic expectations.

Provide input and prepare the initial project schedule. Review daily the project schedule and update schedule as required. Provide prompt information to the Production Manager and Client Manager that may impact the schedule.

Make sure that all RFIs (Request for Information), Change Management issues and Submittals are logged, expedited and that the results are obtained on a timely basis. Try to accommodate new or special requests throughout the process.

Expedite the timely return of drawings from the contractor and/or engineer. Expedite the timely review for the extras of the return drawings by the Estimator and the timely resolution of the extras.

Assist in the coordination of activities between the Customer and Field personnel.

Keep track of the status/lead times for materials and equipment needed to complete the job. Make sure all materials and equipment are ordered, scheduled and available for the job.

Initiate the timely billing consistent with the contract.

Continually look for areas of improvement within the processes and procedures to ensure client satisfaction.
