Intra-Cellular Therapies is expanding our marketing team to support CAPLYTA, and we seek a Senior Product Manager Consumer Lead to join our team.

This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Marketing and will be responsible for execution of the consumer, patient advocacy and public relations strategy and consumer marketing plan for CAPLYTA.

Responsibilities

Manage the development of consumer, and patient marketing, promotional, educational, and/or corporate campaigns

Oversee the creation and maintenance of direct-to-consumer websites and patient brochures, online video content, audio ads, CRM initiatives, emails and banner campaigns ensuring they effectively communicate product benefits and support consumer needs

Develop and manage point of care tactics, patient profiles, patient testimonials, and KOL testimonials to drive patient interest and brand loyalty

Support the development of the cohesive media plan along with creative development.

Lead public relations efforts

Help monitor marketplace and competitor trends via their digital footprint/approach, professional publications/databases, conferences, etc. and anticipate marketplace and competitive issues.

Support and/or guide agencies, vendors and partners to execute tactical plans, ensure timelines are met, and budgets are managed

Think innovatively regarding the application of new technologies and solutions to help achieve goals and drive brand growth

Work with partners to report on KPIs and identify optimization needs, as well as track performance on a regular basis

Support IT on the development of internal dashboards to track KPIs

Analyze market data and consumer insights to identify opportunities and optimize marketing efforts on an ongoing basis

Manage and develop social efforts on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Reddit

Support training and conferences as needed

Remain updated on cookie policies ensuring compliance with legal requirements and help shape digital marketing strategies effectively

Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of marketing materials and conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies

Coordinate with the Market Research & Sales Ops Teams to identify research, insight and measurement needs to inform spend, scale, or campaign optimizations

Partner with the sales force to ensure effective communication, training and messages are delivered and customer needs are being met

Support brand planning and may track and/or help prepare annual budget/forecast for marketing

May manage inventory levels and distribution of promotional materials and samples

Must work with colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

Collaborate with key cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Sales Team, Peer Review Committees, Corporate Communications, Commercial Development, Market Access, and Patient Support, serving as the source of brand knowledge

Partner with Marketing Analytics team to identify & implement advanced measurement studies that will demonstrate the business impact being driven by marketing investments as needed

Evaluate new & innovative marketing opportunities and provide perspective for adoption (where appropriate)

Job Requirements

BA/BS degree; Masters or MBA desired

Two plus years experience in a Product Manager role for a pharmaceutical, biotechnology company or media agency with HCP or consumer pharmaceutical experience

Digital experience including web site development, social media, SEM, display and VEEVA utilization is desired, but not required

Proven experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a focus on consumer-facing initiatives preferred, but not required

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making required

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels required

CNS experience is desired, but not required

Launch experience with newly marketed products or new indications preferred

Track record of developing and implementing strategies/tactics that have delivered strong commercial results across both traditional & digital marketing channels

Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners and agency partners with understanding of digital implementation (e.g., programming/development, QA testing, etc.)

Experience managing promotional budgets and strong business analysis skills required

Deep understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues

Excellent listening, presentation, writing, editing and communication skills with ability to present to senior management when needed

Solutions-oriented with strong problem solving skills

The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required – up to 25%
