ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary responsibility of this position is for innovating sales growth, process implementation, and overall performance of the company's off-site and on-site catering program, along with day-to-day administrative functions of the catering sales department.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST
Build customer relationships through effective networking and prospecting with key decision makers.
Grow business sales through effective cross-selling, exceptional customer service, and cold calling.
Develop and grow relationships with key accounts to maximize sales potential and frequency.
Ability to develop potential client lists and convert into future customers.
Manage guest database and event history.
Build and manage venue relationships and strengthen relationships through innovative rewards programs and incentives.
Analyze historical, current, and future market trends and support strategies to maximize catering/group dining sales through creative and selective selling.
Oversee all sales and events from the private dining room.
Increases sales in all restaurants in assigned territory to meet budgeted sales plan

Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years experience in the role of leading catering or event sales.
Demonstrated record of consistently reaching or exceeding sales goals/budgets.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with existing and new clients.
Experience using technology specific to catering and customer relationship management.
Strong cold calling and sales presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to turn leads into sales.
Experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Stellar networking and relationship building skills.
Salary Description
$50,000 base plus commission
