About The Role:

Responsible for implementing detailed project schedules from contract to implementation, coordinating the activities of project teams, identifying project issues, organizing and verifying documents, communicating project information both internally and externally to clients, managing deadlines, and assuming additional responsibilities, as assigned. Oversees and, at times, mentors the work conducted by the Associate Project Manager as part of the overall collaboration of efforts in support of client deliverables.

What You'll Do:

Acts as project lead and oversees and/or manages project activities in the coordination with the Project and Digital & Technology (D&T) teams to successfully complete specified projects.

Manages multiple projects simultaneously, while also serving as the main point of contact on some client projects.

Manages project scope, monitors project progress and performance, and provides status reports to Account Managers and D&T, as required.

Interacts with the client to design customized reports and map layers for client projects.

Provides client support and training on analysis and other results for assigned projects, as needed.

Performs quality assurance on all products or services being developed for clients to ensure product is meeting specified requirements.

Provides support to Sr Project Managers and Account Managers on projects.

Mentors the activities of Project Analysts, including support for analytical mapping jobs for production; provides support and assistance for extra workload, as needed.

Processes, prepares, and maintains critical analytic databases for client projects.

Extracts demographic information from various databases for use in maps or reports using Alteryx database programming platform, a complex specialty platform for high volume/large format data management.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelors degree from four-year college or university with a major or minor in Geography or related field. Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Experience working with Alteryx, ESRI ArcMap, Maptitude, MapInfo or other GIS-related technologies.

Alteryx experience preferred.
