Job Summary:
The Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land for residential development. This role oversees the entire acquisition process and manages the development phase to ensure successful project execution, aligning with the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement land acquisition strategies.
Lead and mentor a team of managers and staff.
Identify and evaluate potential land opportunities.
Negotiate land purchase agreements.
Oversee planning, design, and permitting for projects.
Manage project budgets and financial performance.
Build relationships with stakeholders and represent the company.
Ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business, or related field; Masters preferred.
10+ years in land acquisition and development, residential focus.
Proven success in land deals and project management.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of real estate market trends and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
