UI/UX Designer

The Swift Group is looking for an experienced UI/UX Developer to join a technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to provide solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within the government.
This position is located in the Dulles, VA area.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of relevant work experience.
Software/ Content Management System/ Languages: Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver or equivalent code editor; Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; WordPress (Talkabout); Sharepoint; HTML, CSS
Maintain and update content on client's Talkabout (WordPress) and SharePoint websites.
Create briefings and graphics to align with branding style guide, and meet the client’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA accessibility and design standards.
Support client senior leaders with timely and professional graphics, infographics, and presentations.
Responsible for creating and distributing workforce communications via automated e-newsletters and online reservation tools.
Communicate with the client's publication review board for approval of internal and external publications.
Designed and facilitated production of client-branded plaques as awards to employees who are moving on from the client’s team.
Apply human-centered design principles to the results of research to create professional products that enable the client to make well-informed decisions and accurately inform their customers.
BA/BS Degree or five additional years’ experience in lieu of a degree
US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Desired Qualifications
Conduct accessibility and end-client tests to ensure highest-quality user experience for all users.
Engage with clients to present marketing strategies for client web presence and guiding customers to their services.
Facilitate client offsite meetings, and consult with them in preparing agenda, questions, presentations and activities.
Research and compile client website usage metrics reports, allowing the client to understand their users and provide them the resources they need most
