About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology (VP IT) to lead the strategic development and execution of the technology strategy for its global pharmaceutical packaging operations. The VP IT will be responsible for aligning IT initiatives with business objectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring the security and compliance of IT systems. This pivotal role involves building and managing high-performing IT teams, overseeing ERP rationalization and standardization, driving digital transformation, and leading IT integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, a proven track record in a similar leadership role, a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.Key responsibilities for the VP IT include strategic leadership, team building, and management, as well as a focus on innovative technologies, ERP implementation, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture management, automation, cloud support, and IT general controls for SOX compliance. The role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and who is experienced in leveraging modern IT solutions to enhance business operations and drive efficiency. The VP IT will also be expected to have a global perspective, with the ability to manage IT systems and support across different business sites and segments.
