The Operations Engineer will manageme operational aspects of specific fields in the company's portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support daily field operations with technical knowledge
Create AFE's and procedures to increase production and/or decrease operating expenses
Monitor production and expenses to identify problems and potential areas for improvement
Plan and execute workovers in the field as needed
Work independently of and in cooperation with the exploitation department to identify upside and generate capital projects
Travel as necessary
SKILLS:
Experience with field operations, workovers, surface facilities, and artificial lift
Demonstrated proficiency in basic project economics
Exposure to software such as PHDWin, Rodstar, TAM, Petra
Experience generating and executing projects in the field preferred
Requirements
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in petroleum, mechanical, or other related engineering field
Minimum 1-5 years of oil and gas experience
