Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze network needs, and propose solutions.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, Ruckus Access Points and Fortinet firewalls to optimize network performance and security.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective network management and support.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and make recommendations for network improvements.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Communicate and demonstrate techniques while cross training other employees on various applications and hardware.
Procurement of network hardware and replacement devices, track shipments and warranty service requests.
Consistently and accurately use the ticketing and purchasing system to enter, track and close all client transactions.
