Lead Product Marketing Across Our Two-Sided Marketplace

Apartment List is a rapidly innovating two-sided marketplace connecting renters and property partners. We're seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to spearhead our go-to-market strategies for game-changing products across both our B2C renter and B2B partner audiences.

In this high-impact role, you'll specialize in crafting compelling B2C messaging and campaigns that really click with renters. But you'll also drive strategic initiatives for our B2B offerings targeted at property management companies, owners, and operators.

Through your audience-centric lens, you'll harmonize the interests of both sides of our marketplace - striking the balance where the magic happens. With a data-driven mindset and innovative approach, you'll capitalize on opportunities swiftly, not afraid to diverge from the norm.

This is a chance to make your mark on our pioneering products and brand's continued success. You'll own the full lifecycle - shaping vision, enabling cross-functional execution at rapid speed, and optimizing performance based on insights. Things will happen through you, as you drive impact with clear ownership.

Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:

Develop integrated go-to-market strategies for product releases across audiences

Collaborate closely with product, design, marketing, and leadership teams

Create resonant positioning and messaging tailored to customer segments

Define metrics and provide data-backed performance reports

Leverage market research, user testing, and feedback

Optimize adoption, conversion, and retention through iterative campaigns

Equip sales/success teams with arsenal - training, collateral, product expertise

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be successful:

7+ years of product marketing mastery, with a passion for data-driven strategies

1+ year(s) of direct management experience

Adept at transforming market needs into successful consumer-focused initiatives

Skilled at developing positioning that stands out and messaging that clicks

Track record of high-quality feature rollouts on modern tech stacks

Excellent collaboration abilities to inspire cross-functional teams

Superb communication talents to position products brilliantly

Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills

Proven ability to deliver against goals

Here's the Pay Range:

At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $144,000 + bonus + equity, which reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer.

We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. It is always our goal to hire exceptional talent and we would be happy to share more about compensation during the hiring process.
