Primary Responsibilities:
+ Handle all operations of a busy commercial body shop
+ Manage shop workflow and technicians to ensure that quality standards are met
+ Manage payroll
+ Price jobs
+ Oversee billing
+ Ensure that the proper parts and supplies are in stock
+ Shipping & receiving
+ Staff hiring, management, development & retention
+ Customer satisfaction and relations
+ Plans daily/weekly work schedule for direct reports
+ Financial management
+ Review and signs off on all completed work orders
+ Promotes safety standards and expectations
Position Requirements:
+ 3 years auto body management experience.
+ Auto body estimating experience. Ability to negotiate repair estimates and supplements with insurance companies.
+ Driver's license. A commercial driver-s license (CDL) is ideal but not required.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ A Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Damage Appraisers License is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual.
