This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or willing to move to AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, NV, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT.

The Role: Cart.com has grown rapidly and is looking for a Manager of Finance who will partner with our FaaS business leaders (including Fulfillment Operations, Accounting, and FP&A) to further accelerate our growth. You will partner closely with our Operations team to help to define business roadmaps and key metrics, build the annual operating plan, lead qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform strategic decisions, assist with month-end reporting of network and site-level P&Ls, identify and lead initiatives, and execute accordingly to drive top-line growth and facility efficiency and productivity.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who exemplifies ownership, enjoys delivering impact in fast-paced environments, and is a world-class partner to leaders and teams. This person will report to and be mentored by the Sr. Director of FaaS Finance and be a key member of our greater Finance

What You’ll Do: Partner closely with our FaaS business leaders to define key metrics (e.g. productivity, process costing) and identify & execute on initiatives to drive financial impact. Partner with Internal Analytics team to track, and draw insights from trends.

Develop and maintain accurate near- and long-term financial operating plans (with our FP&A team), providing updated projections for revenue, expenses, and capex.

Create dynamic ad-hoc financial models as needed.

Perform qualitative and quantitative (data-driven) analyses to solve problems and evaluate facility performance, unit economics, and risk mitigation strategies.

Create / Manage scalable processes and reporting as needed to enhance financial visibility.

Assist with month-end close process (non-accounting) to ensure timely and accurate financials. Present insights and action items to Operations leadership.

Build consensus and present recommendations (written and oral) to management.

Ultimately, adopt ownership mindset for our FaaS business and ensure its continued profitable growth.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the finance department.

Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and strategic planning.

Monitor and analyze financial KPIs to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate financial information and support decision-making.

Who You Are: You have a deep understanding of fulfillment operations or the 3PL business model.

You possess Advanced Excel skills.

You are able to multi-task and establish priorities.

You are able to work independently and collaboratively.

You are a self-starter.

You are resourceful.

What You’ve Done: 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, finance, business operations, and/or top investment banking, management consulting, or venture capital firm

Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including advanced Excel skills.

Experience with high growth companies, including financial models and KPIs.

Cross-functional experience partnering with multiple C-Level/VP stakeholders.

Familiarity with Startups and Startup work environments a big plus.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, and/or accounting.

Nice to Haves:  MBA or Master’s in Finance.

Prior experience at a 3PL or in a fulfillment/distribution operation.

Prior experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Adaptive Planning and Tableau.

Prior experience in a people manager role, ideally with remote teams.

Familiarity with Startups and Startup work environments.
