What you will be doing!

Role will report to the Finance Lead.

Leads Program Finance team of Finance analysts supporting two business areas and portfolio of programs

Oversees all financial planning and reporting activities, including the annual planning cycles and building accurate forecasts.

Continuously seeks out opportunities for customer experience improvements and cost reduction, and partnering with operations leadership to implement the opportunities.

Manages and develops financial models for planning, forecasting, and reporting costs and efficiency.

Performs root cause analysis and uncovers core issues using data; assisting the Operations on improving and creating new measures.

Responsible for budget planning and supporting the TSS leadership team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company

Collaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project management

Manage billing of rated services, ensuring accuracy and review of proper backup information

Provide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth

Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations

Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

People development, cross-training and career coaching

Responsible for business area monthly reporting requirements

Other duties as necessary

Supervisory Responsibility

Manages the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Program Finance Department. Provides guidance and direction in procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; Master’s preferred; ten or more years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus five years of experience in a leadership role. CPA license is preferred but not required.

Other Required Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations; ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints. Effective communication and presentation skills on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and/or board of directors

Must be able to calculate figures and amounts for all bookkeeping, payroll, budgets, statistical analysis and probability statements. Must use the utmost discretion in all presentations/correspondence and communication for staff, Executives, and Managing Directors

Strong financial, analytical, communication and management skills

Experience in Government Contracting and knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards required.

Proficient in Deltek Costpoint and MS Office.

Clearance :

Current TS/SCI with appropriate level polygraph preferred. Ability to obtain/maintain aforementioned clearance is required.
