**POSITION**

**Reports To:** Finance Manager

**ROLE**

**SUMMARY**

As a Finance Associate in our services company, you will be responsible for managing the daily accounting tasks and billing processes in our organization. You will play a crucial role in the full billing life cycle of our two largest divisions at Astrix.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Billing:

2. Review and prepare invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing data.

3. Distribute invoices electronically to customers and/or upload into vendor management system.

4. Communicate with sales team of discrepancies or client issues regarding invoices.

5. Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payment.

6. Maintain accurate client information and update finance systems accordingly.

7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

8. Assist Finance Manager with other accounting and finance.

1. Accounts Receivable:

2. Prepare accurate and timely reports including company aging and customer statements.

3. Collaborate with finance and sales team to maintain accounts receivable.

4. Communicate with customers to answer questions.

5. Request payment of outstanding debt.

6. Keep an accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**

+ Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

+ Proven experience as a Finance Associate or similar role in a services company.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES**

+ In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

+ Strong analytical skills.

+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite and working knowledge of ERP systems.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

+ Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

+ Results-oriented mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

+ Self-motivated, learning mindset

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

+ Possess excellent logic, writing and language skills

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
