The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and
maintaining EHS programs that protect the health and safety of employees and the environment. Serves
as the subject matter expert educating our employees and the crews we oversee on the vital aspects of
safety and health. The EHS Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable
EHS regulations and reporting. This job reports to the VP of EH&S and Human Performance. Frequent
travel is involved to interface with the field workforce.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures.
Conduct EHS audits and inspections.
Investigate EHS incidents and accidents.
Train employees on EHS topics.
Maintain EHS records and documentation.
Stay up-to-date on EHS regulations.
Provide EHS support to other departments.

Requirements: Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in EHS.
Experience with EHS regulations.
Strong understanding of EHS principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree preferred in Occupational Health and Safety, or experience in a related field.
Experience working in the field of electrical transmission, distribution, and substations.
Experience with environmental permitting.
OSHA 10 and 30 certification
