2KB Energy Services is an independent energy and environmental consulting firm based in north Atlanta. We deliver success by providing meaningful engagement and technical expertise that ensures our clients realize their goals for energy efficiency and sustainability. To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a Business Development Associate to strengthen our team, either in the Atlanta Offices or remote. This role includes working in a close team environment to help develop relationships, create awareness, and attract business and harness opportunities.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, and have exceptional organizational, verbal, written, and presentation skills. You are the ideal candidate if you are dynamic, energetic, and interested in growing a small business. 2KB is a small and growing business with enormous potential for building experience and professional acumen and making an impact.
Our team works on a hybrid schedule in the Dunwoody office. This role will require 10% travel.
What You’ll Do
Sales and Business Development Support:
Support the use of CRM tools for identification and capture of new business opportunities.
Identify gaps in sales targets and support outreach efforts.
Develop and write compelling proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposal creation.
Ensure all proposals align with organizational objectives and showcase our unique value propositions.
Monitor industry procurement portals for relevant solicitations.
Brand Management:
Oversee the day-to-day management of the company website, ensuring content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligns with the brand image.
Implement and maintain company social media strategies.
Collaborate with outside resources to create engaging and visually appealing web content.
Monitor website analytics and generate regular reports to assess the effectiveness of online strategies.
Utilize data-driven insights to recommend improvements to the website and online content.
Compliance and Reporting
Maintain a database of company vendor registrations, licenses, certifications, and business registrations.
Establish and manage all compliance activities associated with reporting on the above.
Preferred Experience
Proven track record in sales and business development support.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in proposal writing.
Proficient in website management, LinkedIn, and content creation.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Experience with Canva, Hubspot, and Squarespace preferred.
