Job Summary:
Catlin Gabel School is a leading independent school that provides a progressive education to students. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing & Communications to join our community and enhance our school's brand and communication efforts through multiple platforms.
Some of the role’s highlights include:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy about the school
Writing and editing communications, building advertising campaigns.
Coordinating marketing materials for Admissions, Head of School communications and newsletters from divisions.
Manage an in-house creative team to develop, implement and integrate marketing communication strategies that serves the many audiences of the school.
Salary : $104,000-$124,000/year
Qualifications:
BA or BS from an accredited college or university, required.
Master’s in communications, marketing, or related field, preferred.
Direct experience in marketing and communications at day schools, preferred.
Experience could be substituted by college or boarding school background, or public schools.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities, particularly in marketing copywriting, with outstanding organizational and follow-through skills.
Must be able to maintain confidential information.
Knowledge of educational institutions preferred, specifically independent preschool through 12th grade schools and Portland metropolitan area schools.
Comfortable in varied software systems, including Google Workspace, Project Management Software, Social Media Platforms, and Content Management Systems. Plus if familiar with Asana, Finalsite, and Veracross. Knowledge in executing SEO and PPC campaigns.
