BioMed is looking for an experienced Associate to support the Company’s finance and market research function. Including data aggregation, trend analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), quarterly reporting, portfolio analysis, and preparation of materials/presentations for senior management and other key stakeholders.
This position offers a hybrid work model, which includes 4 days in office and 1 day remotely. Hybrid work may be modified based on the needs of the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the preparation and review of:
Prepare, update, and monitor life science real estate market and industry data
Collect data through interactions with internal and external teams across markets and other digital platforms
Manage data in a centralized and organized format
Support business development and portfolio planning with research and market trend analysis
Effectively share results via written and verbal communication, new and recurring reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management team
Development/Redevelopment project and portfolio reporting, forecasting, underwriting, and cash flow modeling for active pipeline of developments
Property and portfolio forecasting, modeling, and other financial analysis
Recurring quarterly presentations and portfolio-level management reporting packages
Tenant credit underwriting and analysis efforts, including life science industry research
Other ad hoc analysis for internal and external stakeholders
Utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and the organization’s enterprise reporting software, Oracle EPM Cloud, in support of above efforts
Job Specifications:
4-6 years of commercial real estate, real estate finance, corporate finance, FP&A, portfolio reporting, financial reporting, and/or research/data analytics experience required. Experience with large datasets a plus
Bachelor’s degree with strong performance in Business, Real Estate, Economics, Finance, or related field
Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
Experience with real estate cash flows and financial models in Excel is required
Experience with real estate portfolio analysis and modeling development/redevelopment projects a plus
Argus experience a plus
Organized and thoughtful with strong attention to detail
Ability to clearly convey technical information orally and in written correspondence, reports and presentations
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple active deadlines, and adapt to and proactively communicate changing priorities
Salary Range: $108,000 - $135,000 per year + bonus + long term incentive + benefits
