About the job:Become an expert in Edpuzzle with the support of your sales managerIdentify and qualify Edpuzzle adoption opportunities within a given territoryCommunicate with schools and districts using Edpuzzle in your region to understand their needs and goalsReach out to prospective schools and districts partners in a resourceful and engaging way, leveraging phone, email, and social mediaHelp coordinate meetings with potential clientsDiscover how schools in your region allocate funding and approve purchasesLearn key metrics that drive new business and identify new business opportunitiesOwn the sales process from start to finish by understanding goals and developing strategies to achieve themManage time wisely and stay self-motivated to maintain productivity while working remotelyStart new conversations with dozens of schools daily via inbound requests and outbound campaignsMake phone calls to follow up with school and district decision-makersFollow up on the previous week’s 100+ conversations to make sure nothing slips through the cracksReach out to active users to grow excitement for Edpuzzle as an education solutionSeek out opportunities for face-to-face meetings with IT coaches, curriculum leaders, or school administratorsLead professional development and training sessions for schools and districtsMaintain strong pipeline management and log activities in the Salesforce CRM
About you:Passion for supporting students and educatorsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, sales, and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to prioritize tasks and problem-solveAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentPersistence/Grit: you don’t give up until you get what you wantFlexible and able to adapt to new strategiesSelf-motivated: you have the ability to stay on-task while working aloneStrategic thinker: unafraid to use data to problem-solve, inform decisions, and persuadeTeam-player: you look for ways to learn from and help your teammatesUnintimidated by new technology and quick to pick up new skills2+ years professional experience in a sales position preferredPrevious experience teaching, coaching, or training teachers preferredKnowledge of the school sales-cycle and educational purchasing system in your region preferredBachelor’s degree preferredAbility to travel up to 50% of the time
