About The Position
Columbia Sportswear Finance & Accounting teams overseethefinancial health andforwardstrategy for a portfolio of four global brands, MHW included. These teams exercise expertise across Compliance, Credit, FinancialPlanning andReporting, Tax, Treasury, and Strategy. Advancing traditional Finance & Accounting functions, the organization is also driving exciting innovation in the applicationofadvanced analytics andautomatedintelligence.
As the Mountain Hardwear Financial Analyst you’ll support the Mountain Hardwear brand, working closely with our North American and international commercial subsidiaries, as well as all functions within our Mountain Hardwear Global HQ. Here you’ll receive broad exposure to the corporate operations of a multinational corporation and opportunities to collaborate across a wide range of functions and partners, through the lens of the Mountain Hardwear brand.
You will be a key player in support of all aspects of financial planning (long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting) and analysis, including the preparation and analysis of financial information used by company leadership to help drive profitable and sustainable growth. This role reports directly to the Mountain Hardwear Head of Global Brand Finance and will be a right hand helping to lead the finance function and the Mountain Hardwear organization.

Working side by side with the Mountain Hardwear team you will influence, enable and coach your business partners to make sound business decisions.
Create best in class, exception-based, analytical, and reporting tools, processes, and ad hoc analyses from multiple (sales, channel, brand) perspectives with a focus on clear storytelling, action-oriented output, and an ongoing drive for continuous improvement
Participate in cross-functional alignment on targeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for both Mountain Hardwear and CSC Management, and for cross-functional business partners
Monitor forecasts, inventory, and margin, and provide guidance to improve the accuracy of both short and long-term plans Focus on both Financial and Non-Financial KPIs to ensure strategic decisions are adequately supported through scenario analysis. Through this focus, you’ll identify opportunities and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve results
YOU ARE
Nimble and detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
Able to build rapport and effective relationships with both local and international peers while serving as a challenger in the development of sound financial/business plans
Curious, going beyond the surface to find opportunity and harvest it.
Customer-focused and influencing, capable of emphasizing information to enable and guide cross-functional Senior Management decision-making processes aimed at growth, profitability, and sales across the organization
YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, related field, or equivalent
3-6 years experience focused on financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis with demonstrated organizational and communication abilities
Experience understanding existing and developing consumer, retail, and competitor trends
Experience with visual analytics tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, and prior experience with enterprise-level planning systems such as IBM Cognos TM1
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) a plus
