We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Leader to oversee our Pre-Treat Department at Superior Metal Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management within a manufacturing environment, particularly in the metal finishing industry.
Key Responsibilities :- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pre-Treat Department, including supervising staff, follow the schedule, audit the process, assigning tasks, and ensuring that production targets are met- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that finished products meet customer specifications and industry standards- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure that production runs smoothly- Training new staff to ensure that they are properly learn all aspects of the pre-treatment process- Collaborate with the Paint Line and other departments, such as Packing and sales, to optimize production processes and meet customer demand- Analyze production data and make recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the Pre-Treat Department operates in accordance with industry regulations
Qualifications: -Minimum of 2 years of experience in production management, preferably in the metal finishing industry- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of implementing process improvements- Knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory requirements in the metal finishing industry- Proficiency in auditing the process, making sure material processed is correct and according to schedule.
