About the Role
We are seeking a operationally-minded Account Director to lead select client relationships and drive success in our fast-paced, collaborative agency environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader for both clients and the internal team. On the client side, they will build confidence by expertly packaging and presenting our work, driving clarity through effective communication, and ensuring that we deliver on brief, on time, and at a quality that meets Lineage's standards. Internally, they will act as the leader of the pod, ensuring each member is clear on their role and the play that needs to be run. They will provide thorough briefs to the internal team to enable effective work and be ultimately responsible, with the assistance of management, for ensuring the efficacy of the group's contributions.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary leader and point of accountability for assigned client accounts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional work.
Foster a culture of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork, ensuring the account team works seamlessly with other departments
Continuously monitor and analyze account performance, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Serve as an escalation point for client issues or concerns, working proactively to resolve challenges and maintain client satisfaction
Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the account team to push creative boundaries and explore new ideas
Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior-level clients, serving as a strategic partner and advisor
Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing client accounts, proactively presenting ideas and solutions that expand the scope of work
Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills, effectively articulating complex ideas and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
Proactively identify and address potential client concerns or challenges, taking a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
Stay current with industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to inform strategy and drive innovation
Minimum of 7 years of total agency experience serving as an account manager and project manager, with a proven track record of leading successful client engagements.
Deep understanding of integrated marketing communications, with experience across multiple channels and discipline
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing team
Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and develop innovative solution
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively to both internal and external audience
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on partnership and long-term succes
Experience managing large-scale, complex projects from concept through executio
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadline
Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand financial drivers and make data-driven decision
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
