Job Details
The Program Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Radiation Therapy Program’s Curriculum, including Health science, Radiation therapy patient care, and Radiation therapy physics.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree Preferred, Bachelors Required
ARRT Certification as a Radiation Therapist
Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising,
2 years of full-time clinical experience as a general sonographer, cardiac sonographer, and/or vascular technologist
1-year administrative experience in a medical imaging setting
Responsibilities:
Oversee the self-study accreditation process and maintain compliance by providing all pertinent information to JRCDMS and CAAHEP
Management of staff including instructors, adjunct faculty, and clinical coordinators.
Attend seminars and meetings to keep abreast of current technology of industry and educational methodology.
Orient students to the didactic and clinical phases of the program
Chair of the Advisory Committee.
Create, revise, and implement various forms including program handbook, clinical handbook competency, and evaluation forms
