Job Description:
As the Director of Program and Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing all programs and services provided by Girls of Virtue in the Jacksonville and First Coast area. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects to ensure the holistic development of the young women we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Curriculum Development: Design and develop workshop curricula addressing spirituality, mental health, physical wellness, financial literacy, home management, fitness, and nutrition.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and effectiveness of all programs, conducting regular assessments and making adjustments as needed.
Outcome Measurement: Establish metrics to measure the impact of programs on the lives of young women, tracking their progress and success.
Leadership and Vision:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Empowerment Center, aligning with organizational goals and community needs.
Relationship Building: Foster relationships with high schools, community organizations, and local leaders to expand Girls of Virtue's presence and influence.
Education and Empowerment:
Spiritual Guidance: Provide spiritual mentorship and guidance to young women, ensuring programs reflect and uphold the organization's faith-based values.
Skill-building Workshops: Organize and oversee workshops that equip young women with practical life skills, fostering their personal growth and empowerment.
Team Collaboration:
Executive Program Oversight: Collaborate with the executive program team to ensure the success of programs tailored for young women with grit.
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of program coordinators and educators, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Community Impact:
Advocacy: Advocate for the needs of young women in the community, positioning Girls of Virtue as a leading force in empowering and transforming lives.
Public Relations: Represent the organization in various community forums, communicating its mission and impact.
Grant Writing: Able to work the Grant Writing Team to generate revenue to reach more young women.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Background in mental health, education, or a related field with a proven track record of program development and management.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards a common vision.
Spiritual Foundation: Deep understanding of spiritual principles and a commitment to incorporating them into program development.
Adaptability: Ability to navigate and adapt to the complexities faced by young women in the current generation.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
