Job Description

When you accept a position with Volo, you'll be joining a passionate, driven group of innovators within the social sports industry. As Sales Manager, you'll have the opportunity to upscale both local business financial streams. This is a performance-based role with significant sales and revenue responsibility. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, decisive problem-solver with a bias toward results and activity, and will bring creativity, exceptional planning skills, and a commitment to execution in this important position.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Create and implement strategies to drive revenue across all local products - Volo Sports Leagues, Daily Programs, and VoloPass memberships

Strategize and implement plans to grow league player registration

Boost visibility and volume in website traffic to drive registration for current daily VoloPass programs

Identify and track KPIs related to local sales and revenue

Increase brand awareness for Volo Adult & Youth programs through participation in community events and subsequently evaluate activation effectiveness

Collaborate on and support youth program funding opportunities

New venue and partnership development (including bars) and post relations to boost retention

Hold regular sales meetings

Sponsorship execution oversight of Marketing Manager Digital marketing

Grassroots marketing

Work with Sports Product Director for anything that requires marshaling PT staff

Qualifications

Must-Haves 3-5 years Sales Management experience

Bachelor's Degree required

MUST reside in market; this is NOT a remote position

Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets

Ability to lead and manage remote teams across several major metropolitan markets

Experience in both B2B and B2C sales

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers

Persuasive and goal-oriented

Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor

Outgoing and ready to handle anything presented

Punctual and professional, but embraces a "work hard, play hard" attitude
