Over 75,000 schools use our award-winning tools and we are about to launch new product-category defining tools. We are a distributed team with offices in California and Kiev, Ukraine.
As a Marketing Team member, you will engage in the design thinking process (ideating, prototyping, testing, iterating) as we work toward building scalable and impactful results through marketing campaigns. Your success in this role will rely on the approach you take to complete each project you oversee. You will be measured on how you optimize outcomes, align results with Swivl’s goals and vision, and generate demand. This position will collaborate closely with both Marketing and Leadership teams, and report directly to the Director of Marketing.
What You’ll Do
Social Media Management
Work with the Director of Marketing to define social media goals and create a strategy that tells the Swivl story across all social platforms
Create copy and work with the Graphic Designer to develop videos and images to elevate the story
Ensure our profiles remain up-to-date and use data to help refine and iterate your approach.
Collaborate with Swivl’s Community Manager in responding to social media engagement and content
Public Relations Outreach
Work closely with the Leadership Team to create and execute a strategy to share the Swivl story with a wider audience
Measure the success of a campaign by comparing and analyzing results against the initial proposed goals and outcomes
Content Creation and Repurposing
Work with Marketing Managers to identify gaps in Swivl’s content and work cross-departmentally to create content that highlights the impact of our tools and technology
Repurpose and update existing content - blogs, case studies, podcasts, articles, and videos - to feature across social media
Work closely with Swivl’s warehouse and the Marketing Managers to organize both internal and event shipments
Participate in developing a “swag” strategy for employees and outside events
Assist in compiling reports to track the impact of marketing campaigns. Analyze interpret data to distribute to the appropriate leadership teams

Who You Are
3-5 years of experience in Marketing
Experienced in or passionate about public education
Strong reflective skills e.g. self awareness, intuition, curiosity, and accountability
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient in the design thinking methodology (Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test, Iterate)
Proficient at using AI as a thought partner to create content and strategies
Experienced in Asana, Google Workspace, GA4, Sprout Social, Canva, and Figma

Previous startup experience (bonus if EdTech!)
Previous public relations experience
