Job Details
1. Perform daily accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing, 3 Way Match, and reconciliations.
2. Prepare and post journal entries in the Oracle ERP system, ensuring the accuracy of information and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
3. Support the month-end and year-end close process, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
4. Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, and receipts.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing detailed analysis and commentary as required.
6. Work closely with the finance team to improve financial procedures and ensure the integrity of financial data.
7. Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
8. Participate in financial audits, providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
9. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Qualifications:
1. High school degree, any extra education is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
3. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. Proficient in Oracle ERP and other accounting software.
5. Exceptional knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
