Job Description
The Southern California Territory Sales Manager is the face of the Comvita brand to our retailers. This position is responsible for making in-person sales calls to new and existing accounts; out in the field selling and educating our customers about the Comvita brand. We are on the hunt for an individual that is highly motivated, passionate and executes initiatives successfully with a keen attention to detail.
* Educate stakeholders about the Comvita Brand, products and the power of bees and nature
* Build and maintain a positive relationships with new and existing accounts
* Drive new product placement
* Actively champion and support broker team to achieve territory objectives
* Participate in merchandising as needed
* Coordinate and participate in market tours
* Attend local and regional sales meetings and trade shows
* Complete weekly and monthly reports summarizing accomplishments, targets and opportunities
* Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive product lines, current retail environment, and promotional and marketing programs
* Conduct retail audits as necessary
About you:
* 3+ years in functional food natural grocery sales experience in Southern California
* Dependable, extroverted, diplomatic person, able to problem-solve successfully
* A high level of motivation with a strong work ethic
* Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
* Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills
* Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
* Ability to manage time and deadlines effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook
* Self-starter with strong sales and merchandizing skills
* Experience in the Natural Products Industry calling on retailers in Southern California
Clean driving record, reliable transportation, valid drivers license and valid/current insurance is required
