Our client is a well established company that sells finishing products, trim, moulding, decking made from pine as well as other exterior products to lumberyards along the east coast. They are looking for an experienced sales person  to grow their Northeast territory, the territory includes: Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Rhode Island

Our client was recently acquired by a vertically integrated company that sees many opportunities for growing the business and expanding its customer base, especially in the Northeast region. Through this acquisition our client can control the product from the forest to the finished product. Providing a high quality product, service, and guarantee to their customers.

We’re looking for someone experienced at selling to lumberyards. This is an amazing opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a company expansion. The company has rebranded and revamped their offerings to the market to make it easier for their sales team to grow their existing customers and open up new ones. The ideal candidate is:

An open-minded, curious, and outgoing person who truly enjoys selling and working with lumberyards and leaders.

A dynamic sales person that enjoys the process of opening new customers. You’re an experienced cold caller. You know it takes a lot of no’s to get to the yes!

Someone who is interested in forest products, lumberyards, and sustainable products.

Organized, structured, and able to function autonomously at a high level. This allows you to serve your prospects and customers well across a large territory.

The ideal candidate will have:

Past success selling to lumberyards in the territory is highly preferred

Knowledge or experience selling forest products, lumber, pine, cedar, trim, mouldings, and decking is highly preferred, but not required.

A Driver's License and valid passport. Travel to Canada will be required occasionally.

Responsibilities + Opportunities:

You’ll be responsible for calling on targeted prospects and opening up new lumberyard customers.

You’ll have the opportunity to sell a patented product and a well-known quality product backed by extremely strong warranties.

You’ll work closely with leadership on market intelligence, program development, and creating incentive programs for your customers.

You’ll be part of the sales team that will drastically grow the company’s customer base and product offerings.
