Duties:
Handle complex commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing agreements.
Conduct due diligence, review title reports, and draft necessary transactional documents.
Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients regarding real estate matters.
Negotiate terms and conditions of transactions and leases on behalf of clients.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law in a law firm setting.
Significant experience with "dirt" law, including leasing, land use, and real property transactions.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC, or eligibility for waiver.
Proven track record of handling complex real estate transactions independently.
Education:

Admission to the Washington, DC Bar or eligibility for waiver.
