Your Role and Responsibilities: As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Team Collaboration : Lead and collaborate with a highly effective team, fostering strong communication and decision-making.
Customer and Supplier Interface : Act as the primary quality liaison between our company and our customers/suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and quality assurance.
Inspection and Verification : Conduct thorough inspections to verify parts and assemblies meet engineering and program specifications.
Documentation and Audits : Maintain detailed inspection documentation, perform audits, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Problem Resolution : Utilize your expertise to guide problem resolution and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
First Article Inspections (FAIs) : Oversee and deliver FAIs to verify customer requirements and ensure product quality in compliance with SAE AS9102 standards.
Process Improvement : Implement process improvements based on performance metrics and root cause analysis.
Technical Expertise : Apply your technical knowledge in hardware inspection techniques, Root Cause Corrective Action processes, and maintaining necessary inspection documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience : Proven experience in quality inspection, reading/interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in maintaining inspection documentation and writing inspection reports.
Working knowledge of AS9102, AS9100, ISO-9000 standards.
Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of hardware inspection techniques.
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes.
Practical experience in Dimensional Receiving Inspection of machined parts.
Familiarity with DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery.
General knowledge of aerospace/defense industry and technologies.
Personal Attributes : A high-energy, self-motivated individual with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Legal : Must be a US person; no security clearance required.
Location Commitment : Ability to work full-time on-site in Memphis, TN.
