POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for inspecting , diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of electronic equipment, devices, or systems. Additionally, this position is responsible for contacting dealers and customers concerning Inspection results.

This job function directly affects product quality and will require training.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Cleans and inspects condition of returned electronic equipment

Performs functional tests

Repairs or refurbish electronic equipment from written instructions

Maintains accurate records and log in both hard copy and systematically.

Communicates in writing or phone to applicable Dentsply Sirona departments

Communicates in writing or phone externally with Dealers and Customers

Provides reporting to manager

Other tasks as assigned

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma required; Associates Degree preferred

3-5 years of experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

Attention to detail

Computer literate. Familiar with MS Windows based computers and applications

Mechanical aptitude and dexterity in using hand tools

Customer Service Skills. Ability to communicate professionally in stressful conditions

Communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing

Operate applicable specialized equipment

Evaluate information against a set of standards

Identify risks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as machines. The work may require specific but common physical characteristics and abilities such as lifting up to 75 pounds, above-average agility, and dexterity.

Ability to function in highly stressful situations.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Lead potential

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primarily an office/ warehouse environment; must be able to use all office/ warehouse equipment (PC, phone, camera, copier, hand truck, etc.)

Limited temperature fluctuations, air-conditioned environment.

Exposure to general manufacturing environment.
