RESPONSIBILITIES
Accessing report of Pre-Certification cases pending pre-certification completion
Obtaining required documentation such as Patient demographics, insurance information, and referral to begin the Pre-Certification process
Calling Insurance provider and obtaining pre-certification details in order to provide services to patients
Call Patient’s Primary Care Physician and provide/obtain crucial information needed to complete pre-certification process if required by insurance
Must be able to follow up on pending pre-certification requests in a timely manner
Will be required to train in our scheduling department to obtain knowledge on scheduling process
REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of radiologic procedures and standards (a plus)
Highly skilled in maintaining strong relations with providers and patients
Customer service background and focus
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Codes
Medical billing, Insurance verification experience (a plus)
Must possess good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, physicians and patients
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure
Bilingual English/ Spanish in mandatory
Pay rate varies based on experience and is discussed at Interview
