Overview
Lutron is seeking a passionate and collaborative Marketing Communications Director out of our Corporate Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this position, you will be a key part of the Global Marketing and Communications team. To be successful, you willeffectively plan Marketing Communications activities for international markets that will enable us to meet international sales objectives. You will develop communications programs and campaigns that support our rapid sales growth and business development initiatives, balancing your proven marketing and creative abilities with operational skills. The initial scope of the role will be focused on our strategic market in the UK, and after achieving firm footing, this position will next encompass Europe with an opportunity for career advancement globally.
Responsibilities
Develop communications programs and campaigns to meet the marketing strategies and objectives that will enable us to meet our sales and business goals.
Collaborate with corporate based business, sales, and marketing teams on the development of our marketing strategies and objectives.
Manage the development of communications collateral and media though our in-house team and outside agency partners.
Work with our in-house creative team and outside experts to elevate, refine and focus our brand-style while also connecting to our corporate brand and style identity work.
Build out the people infrastructure to support the long-term growth of the function.
Oversee allocations of marketing communications budgets across all regions of responsibility.
Direct the marketing communications team to ensure close connection and collaboration between communications and in region sales, marketing, and business functions.
With in-country teams, manage public relations and advertising activities including agency/media selection, planning, and execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreein Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all related degrees earned
15+ years of professional experience required.
Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate across the organization.
Marketing communications experience with a global product manufacturer.
Luxury product experience is a plus
Deep, knowledge of the creative process and management of creative is critical.
Direct, hands-on experience developing marketing communications assets for global product launches and ongoing channel development including digital marketing development, literature development, advertising purchasing, trade shows, sales demos and retail displays, social media, and public relations.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Bi-lingual in French/Spanish and in-country experience a plus.
