As a People Partner for Compass Health, you will be responsible for aligning growing business objectives with staff and leadership for a designated program or department. You will work closely with leaders to provide leadership, coaching, and guidance in areas including employee relations, performance management, organization development, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, among others. You will act as a true partner to the assigned program’s leadership team and staff, develop an in-depth knowledge of the team and their day-to-day, and contribute to the organization’s goals. The ideal HR Partner will continuously develop strong relationships with the goal of delivering value-added service to leadership and staff in the mental health space.
What You'll Do:
Strategically partner with assigned teams/programs as the HR point of contact for areas such as coaching, employee relations, performance management, compensation, team effectiveness, engagement, employee changes/terminations, and accommodations.
Closely collaborate with other Human Resources and Talent team members.
Build proactive relationships with leaders of assigned teams/programs.
Develop and maintain a high level of comprehension of Compass’ daily operations, strategic position, financial and operating objectives.
Work closely with the program leadership and employees to improve work relationships, create culture, build morale, and retention.
Manage and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and escalates to Associate Director to ensure consistency.
Comfortable working within an HRIS system, preferably ADP, and assisting the broader HR team with the implementation of changes that improve team efficiency.
Maintain working knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations to ensure compliance.
Assist with the drafting and updating of HR policies.

Who You Are:
Bachelors degree
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR
Organized and detail-oriented
Experience working in a HR start up environment – we are building out our function from the ground up!
Ability to maintain calm under pressure and flex with the needs of the business/team
Great communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with leaders and staff
Ability to see trends in both quantitative and qualitative data and use that data to communicate with the business
Positive attitude and passion for working in the mental health space
Ability to prioritize and manage a large breadth of work
Proficient in basic HR concepts, tools, and policies
